Site-specific topographic wood installation

Located within Sharp Rees-Stealy medical offices in La Jolla, these site-specific installations draw inspiration from San Diego’s iconic mountain landscapes and surrounding topography. From a two-story stairwell feature to a series of large-scale wall artworks, each piece is precision CNC milled from wood - some edge banded with steel - and transformed from photographs of local vistas into refined topographic compositions. Hand-painted and stained finished bring depth and warmth to the work, introducing a sense of movement, craft, and connection to a place within the clinical environment.
